VHS tapes degrade a little more every year. We transfer your home movies and recorded footage to digital video before the quality is lost forever — using professional equipment designed to get the best possible result from your tape.
Not all VHS digitisation is equal. The quality of your transfer depends heavily on the playback equipment used. We use high quality VCR players fitted with a time base corrector (TBC) — specialist hardware that stabilises the video signal during playback, correcting timing errors that are common in aged magnetic tape.
The result is a smoother, sharper, more stable digital copy — as close to the original recording as your tape now allows.
